Front Cover:


Masthead

The masthead needs to be the largest and boldest piece of text on the page, easily being read from afar so it is clean what the magazine is called. It should take up the top section of the page spanning the full width using colours that contrast well on the background to make it stand out. The title should only be one word to keep it short and sweet.

Sell Line

This should give an indication as to what the magazine is targeted towards while being intriguing as to make the viewer want to see inside. It should be a few words and may include alliteration or word play to again, attract the reader.

Cover Lines

Cover lines on fashion trends, celebrities fashion, seasonal fashion, fashion shows, makeup, men and womens fashion, fitness and culture. Must also include a mention of the website to encourage cross media convergence. The cover lines should be targeted at the target audience of a culturally sophisticated 16-25 AB demographic.

Image

The image used should have a model dressed fashionably with direct mode of address to catch the eye of the viewer. This also aids with readers feeling connected to the model. |Furthermore many magazines include the name of the model. Should use a model that represents the target audience of a culturally sophisticated 16-25 AB demographic.

Barcode 

There will need to be a barcode on the front of the magazine and typically an advertisement is placed onto the back of the magazine.

Date

The month of release will need to be put onto the magazine, this is often put under the masthead in smaller text.
